Vintage Threads began with a pile of unsold ukay-ukay clothes and a spark of creativity from its founder, Lorie Mae Losloso. While running her previous business selling secondhand pieces, Lorie couldn’t ignore how many beautiful clothes were left behind—still full of life, but destined for waste. So, she picked up a needle and thread and decided to give them a second chance.

What started as a small experiment—turning old fabrics into wallets and tote bags—soon became a growing passion. Lorie fell in love with sewing and the feeling of creating something new from what was once forgotten. As she dreamed of scaling her craft into a more sustainable business, she began using commercial canvas fabrics, allowing her to produce tote bags in bulk and offer custom rebranding for small businesses and gift buyers alike.

A self-taught seamstress who learned through YouTube tutorials, Lorie discovered that sewing wasn’t just a skill—it was her therapy. Each stitch became a moment of peace, a way to slow down, reflect, and create something useful and beautiful for everyday life.

Today, Vintage Threads continues to grow from one woman’s passion into a brand that celebrates craftsmanship, purpose, and heart.
